Centre Point Silom
After a delay in leaving YVR airport, we finally left around 4:00am for Hong Kong en route to Bangkok. Being 2 hours late meant missing our connecting flight, however, Cathay Pacific is a wonderful airline to fly and had staff meeting everyone with connecting flights, with new boarding passes.
We had booked a suite at Centre Point, and they upgraded us to a view room. Great views from the 15th (which was probably really more like the 12th) floor, but we still had a view of the Chao Phraya river.
The building with the Apple photo? It was never completed and now people run up to the rooftop as exercise. For me, it was great because if I was ever walking on my own, I knew as long as I saw that poster, I was getting close to the hotel.

The pool we never got to use because they started renovations shortly after we got there. |
