Cooking lesson, market tour

A and I decided we wanted to take a cooking class, and boy are there a lot of choices out there. We settled on one that wasn't going to be too far away, and the classes weren't too big.

They had us meet at a metro station, at which point they shuttled everyone to a meeting spot close to the school. The cooking classes are a well run machine, so they had about 3 groups picked up and set up at intervals. Each group of 12 students met with an instructor.

The first stop was to the market to see first hand, some of the ingredients we'd be using in our cooking. We stopped at the vendor making coconut cream and milk to see how it's done.

How'd they make coconut cream pre-machinery?

She also showed us the various types of ginger

as well as eggplants.

and peppers

There was a cat at the market

who decided to partake of some of the ingredients

Some items at the market that we didn't get to use, but looks interesting

And people just went on with their daily lives, despite us tourists disrupting their day.

After our market tour, we headed back to the cooking school
