Lumpini Park

Lumpini Park is a nice getaway from all the hustle and bustle, right in the middle of Bangkok. A short metro ride away from our hotel, it provided us a relaxed but still fun day out.

I should've adjusted my photo better so the sign about "please don't feed the birds" shows up more

We had read about the giant monitor lizards in the park, and they did not disappoint. We saw our first one as we were passing by the rental boats.

They stay away from people, as their food source are small animals. The crows aren't too fussed and are always looking for a free, easy meal.

The park is known for both the flora

and fauna

On our way back to the hotel, we wanted to stop off for boat noodles, but couldn't find the place. I did however, find this beautiful rainbow of colours.
